St. Louis Rams Training Camp Returns

The St. Louis Rams announced Friday that the Rams will once again hold their training camp at the Russell Training Center in Earth City, Mo. Steve Spagnuolo said" This year we feel it is in the best interest of our football team to conduct training camp at Russell Training Center.” Dates and times will be announced later. This is great news for local Rams fans who like to watch the Rams practice. The Russell Training Center allows fans to get up close to the players.

St. Louis Rams Training Camp August 6th

I was lucky enough to attend the St. Louis Rams, Earth City Day today at the Russell Training Center in Earth City. I was part of the VIP crowd of Earth City company employees that were invited. The highlight was getting my picture taken with Jason Smith #77, the Rams 1st round draft pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Jason was kind enough that after a 135 minute practice, and a short autograph session, to actually stop while carrying loads of equipment to sign more autographs and to take some photos with the fans. 2009 St. Louis Rams Training Camp Schedule

St. Louis Rams training camp will start on July 30th as the rookies will report. Veterans are to report to camp on July 31st. 2009 training camp will be at the Russell Training Center in Earth City Missouri. All of the training camp dates should be released soon, including the dates open to the public. Hopefully Steve Spagnuolo and the St. Louis Rams will make many of the practices open to the public this year. The Rams need to win the fans back this year and moving training camp back to Earth City is a good start. Not many fans were wanting to drive to Concordia University in Mequon Wisconsin to watch a 2-14 team practice. We plan to post many pictures from the practice seesion.
