Round 1
- Overall Pick # 15 -
Tye Hill - CB
It is still too early to tell how
good of pick Tye Hill was at #15 overall. In his
first season with the Rams he showed flashes of how good
he may become. He was able to make 50 tackles and 3
picks. He has great speed and breaks on the ball quiet
well. His coverage skills still need work, however he
should be a full time corner in 2007 and be able to get
in some much needed playing time. |

Round 2 -
Overall Pick # 46 -Joe
Klopfenstein - TE
Joe became the starter by default as the Rams traded
Brandon Manumaleuna after drafting Joe. The Rams did not
use the tight end much in 07' and even though Joe
started all 16 games he only had 20 catches and 1
touchdown. With the 07' pick up of Randy McMichael from
the Dolphins Joe will be the backup and makes him a
highly questionable #46 overall draft pick.

Round 3 - Overall Pick #
68- Claude
Wroten - DT
Claude played in 15 games in 06 and had only 11 tackles
and 1 sack throughout the year. The Rams continue to
have problems at DT. Claude had some character issues
around draft time and along with his lack of being in
great physical shape was unable to really wrestle away
much playing time from the starters. With the release of
Jimmy Kennedy prior to the 07' season Claude should get
more playing time. |
